A national pub chain, shopping centres and councils up and down the country are all set for a colourful summer as we begin the mammoth task of preparing 12,000 floor-standing planters and hanging baskets.
Plantscape has always been the leading name in supplying and maintaining dazzling floral displays to councils but this year our products will be enjoyed by even more people because we’re branching out into other sectors for 2017.
Extra planters will be on their way to brighten the streets of Hitchin in Hertfordshire this year after it confirmed that it is investing in a bigger display from Plantscape.
The Hitchin Business Improvement District, which was set up to promote the town centre as a good place to shop and visit, is hoping our products will boost footfall throughout the summer after they are installed in June.

A Derbyshire town council which trialled a display of street planters from Plantscape has declared it to be a complete success after residents gave it near-unanimous approval – prompting the council to agree to install another display next year.
Nearly all the respondents in a survey carried out by Wirksworth Town Council said that our colourful display, which featured a series of floor-standing planters, improved the appearance of the town this summer.
Three young apprentice landscapers turned their hands to saying it with flowers when they helped floral features suppliers Plantscape brighten up a Midlands town.
The trio, from our parent company TCL Midlands, spent the day out and about on the streets of Lutterworth in Leicestershire earlier this month, filling the town’s floor-standing planters and hanging baskets with hundreds of winter plants.
All of our customers got out of their way to make their communities look and feel better with our floral displays and this year we were left impressed by one group of volunteers who used flower power to help breathe new life into an historic but neglected corner of their town.
